Intel has been a major player in the PC industry for a while now, so it should come as no surprise that the company has been building new parts for its processors for some time now.
While the company’s latest Ryzen processors are powered by a quad-core chip and a quad channel memory controller, the company is also producing its latest Ryzen 7 processors with a two-socket design, making the new socket design the company uses in its upcoming desktop CPUs.
Intel has yet to release a full line of CPUs with a single socket, but it’s not hard to imagine what Intel would do with one.
The company is currently releasing a range of CPU sockets with three or four sockets, but Intel’s plans are looking a little more ambitious.
AMD is releasing its Ryzen 5 1600X with three sockets, and while Intel has already released a Ryzen 5 1800X with two sockets, AMD has announced that it is also going to be releasing two Ryzen 7 1800X chips with two additional sockets in an effort to take advantage of the new Ryzen 7 CPU’s three-core design.
Intel’s new Ryzen 5 CPUs will come with an integrated graphics solution, which Intel is calling an integrated HD Graphics 620 GPU.
The HD 620 GPU is a graphics card with integrated DirectX 12.1 support, so this is Intel’s first GPU with integrated support for DirectX 12, which is pretty cool.
AMD has already said that its HD 620 GPUs will be coming to some of its upcoming Ryzen 7 CPUs, but we haven’t seen any specific details yet on when or how many of these CPUs will be hitting the market.
If AMD can’t sell these new Ryzen CPUs at the retail level, we can assume that they will be sold in the retail channel.
The Ryzen 5 series has always been AMD’s first and most expensive CPU lineup, so the company would be expected to be targeting a mainstream consumer audience with the new CPUs.
However, Intel is looking to bring its Ryzen lineup into the mainstream with a couple of different strategies.
First, Intel’s Ryzen 7 1700X will feature a single core clock speed of 2.2GHz, while the Ryzen 7 1400X will come in with a base clock speed that is 1.9GHz.
The new CPUs will both have 8MB of L3 cache and 4MB of cache, but AMD has said that the Ryzen 5 1700X and the Ryzen 1700X will both be the fastest Ryzen CPUs on the market at the moment.
Intel will also be releasing its next-generation Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 processors, which will come equipped with a 16-thread clock speed, a 64-thread base clock and a 256-thread boost clock.
Intel plans to release its first Intel Xeon chips with these new Xeon E-series chips, but the company hasn’t said when these chips will be available.
While Intel is going to offer two Ryzen CPUs with two different sockets, the first chip is expected to launch sometime in the second half of 2017, so there’s a good chance that Intel will have a handful of Ryzen 7 chips in the wild before the end of the year.
The other strategy that Intel is taking with its Ryzen CPUs is to use the sockets to increase the speed of the processor’s graphics performance, which makes sense considering that Intel’s CPU chips are still primarily aimed at desktop use.
The first two Ryzen processors to use Intel’s XMP and HyperTransport memory controllers will feature 32MB of shared L3 memory, and these processors will also use Intel® Xeon E3-1200 v4 processor and Xeon E7-2630 v4 CPU chips.
Intel also plans to introduce the first Intel Core i7 processor with Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 in the third quarter of this year, so we should see the introduction of the Intel Core M processor in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Intel is also releasing a second Ryzen processor with HyperTransports and XMP memory controllers, which we expect to be announced in the first half of 2018.
The final Ryzen chip that Intel plans on introducing to the market is the AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series, which comes with a 32-thread core clock and 64-core boost clock, while also featuring an integrated Radeon R7 M570 graphics card.
Intel says that its new Ryzen chips will launch in the middle of the first quarter of 2018, and we’ll have more information on when those chips will hit the market once we have more info on the new Intel Core processors.
The Intel Core R7 1800X processor, on the other hand, is slated to launch in late 2018.
It is Intel Core processor that has been rumored to be replacing the Core i5-7700K in the mainstream market.
Intel hasn’t yet announced an official release date for the Core R5 1800X, but if it doesn’t launch until mid-to-late 2019, it will mark the first time that Intel has launched an Intel Core product that is available for consumers to buy.
